Bespoke Behavioural consultations
I understand first hand how worrying it can be when your pet experiences behavioural issues and will be with you every step of the way to help you understand why your pet may be behaving differently and help you to manage the behaviour of concern. Examples of the types of behaviour problems I can help with can be found on the homepage but as our pets are all unique even if the problem you are concerned about isn’t listed do get in touch.
How it works
The first step is to fill out a pre-consultation form which provides the opportunity to gather some background information such as your pet’s age as well as a detailed idea of the problems you are facing.
As working in conjunction with vets ensures giving the very best treatment for your pet, an appointment with your vet prior to the initial consultation must be carried out in which the vet will send a referral letter including a copy of your pet’s medical history to me.
Upon receiving this I will arrange an initial consultation which will usually be undertaken in your home and will consist of a mixture of talking and practical training. The initial consultation will last between 1 and 2 hours, depending on the nature of the problem.
After the consultation I will send a written report including a prognosis to you and your vet. I will also send you any relevant hand outs and training plans.
As I believe there are no ‘quick fixes’ for behaviour flexible follow up sessions are included which allow us to work on the behaviour together.
